I found a 8” jointer on craigslist. http://bham.craigslist.org/tld/3508287529.html
It’s a seco and have never really heard of them. Can anyone tell me about them and if this is worth it.

Small bit of info from SawmillCreek that’s all I saw on it

Looks like it probably came from the same factory as some of the former Grizzly, Bridgewood, Sunhill, Jet, Woodtek, GI, and other Taiwanese imports. If so, it’s a well proven design, but seems a bit overpriced at $650. Looks to be in nice shape, but with no warranty or mobile base, I’d think $450-$550ish is more realistic. New Grizzly 8” jointers start at $825 ($975 shipped).

Price is high but they are good machines.

The company now goes by the name
KUFO = “King of UFO”

Ok. I couldn’t find much on it either but it does seem a little high for the price but looks sure nice.
