Topic tags/keywords: google sketchup

I am trying to install cut list for Google Sketchup but can not get it to show up in plugins. The only plugin that I get is cost. I am doing this on a Mac any help that I can get would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Pete

Well I have got the plugins in but not getting the diagram to come up. I guess I will be playing with it some more unless anyone has some tips.

Tried to upload Cutlist but the Preference dialogue window does not recongnize the .rb extention from the downloaded file, only .rbz extentions work. Is this plugin meant for Mac’s only?

Are you sure you downloaded the app for windows?

Richard, you should simply copy the plugin manually to your plugins directory (most likely c:\program files\google\google sketchup 8\plugins).

the .rbz extension if a pre-packaged plugin extension.

Do you have a library of wood material? When you build your sketch, click on the paint icon, a window opens and you can assign it material texture. This is how I do it in windows, don’t know if it works the same on Mac
