Has anyone heard anything about this company or any reviews from their planers or jointers? I believe they are out of Wisconsin and California. I have e mailed them asking for more information but would trust the forum to give me less bias answers.

If you have heard anything positive or negative please let me know.

Rick 1

thanks, yes i did some looking up online and I am originally from Wisconsin and I didn’t know they existed until recently. I am sure it is imported, but was wondering about their bushing and their motors to see if they are of better quality than the grizzly. The prices are the same for a 20 inch planer but I would have to pay extra for a byrd cutterhead, but it might be worth it in a long run if they use American motors.

From the images, this is my educated guess:

Looks like the lighter weight machinery is coming from Asia.

The heavier machines look like the may be made in Europe…
probably Italy but maybe Poland, Bulgaria, or some other
eastern European country. Probably not Germany,
Austria, Switzerland or France.

A search on these two sites yielded 0 results:

I would call them and ask them straight out what the
machine is a re-badged version of. If they won’t say,
I wouldn’t buy.

I got a return e mail and I called and spoke to the person who handles the woodworking machinery. The planers are the same design as everyone elses and the motors are NOT American made. The motors are Taiwanese motors made by a company named Yen Shen. Looked the motor company up a little and received little information on the motors themselves but maybe someone else will have a bit of better luck.

I kind of mentally shut myself off when he stated that the motors have less problems than those from Leeson and Baldor.

The search continues LOL

Have your say...
