Can't Send Message to anyone who's not a "Buddy"????

I just tried to send a new message to a user who is not a member of my Buddy List. I find that my only option on addressing to the sender is to select from my “Buddies.”

I know that I have sent messages to non-Buddies in the past. Sure wish it was that way again.

I really don’t want to add this user to my Buddies since I was writing to question his activities on this site…

Has anyone else noticed this change, or am I hallucinating?

You just can’t do it from the messaging section of your homepage. If you go to the person’s page, there is an option on the left side of the screen to send that person a message. -- There is little that is simple when it comes to making a simple box.
