Good price but that 30 micron bag won’t help your lungs.

a 12” impeller with a 5HP motor doesn’t sound good.

No Jim but I want to use the impeller on an E-Bay cyclone and install a Wynn filter ( may be the one I already have) on the cyclone

They also sale a 3HP

It seems a little funny that the 5HP model has the same impeller size (12”), amp draw (18A-220v-1ph) and rated capacity (2800cfm-17.2” static pressure-3450rpm) as the 3HP model. I wouldn’t buy either without more clarification. -Jack

No way a 12” impeller could ever get to 2800cfm. No way, no how! If you just want the motor and other assemblies, not bad for a 5hp motor.

Never heard of them until now . Thanks Bert. The price is right if you have room for that double bagger : )

as others have said 12” impeller = badness. I might be completely wrong but I think impeller size is what determines how much static pressure your DC system can handle; motor HP determines the size of impeller the motor can handle. A 12” impeller may have a huge motor hooked up to it but it won’t move any air once you have any ducting attached.

Probably made in the same, factory that makes grizzly and shop fox etc.It look identical. I would not use the bags.
I just want the motor and the impeller to mount on cyclone.

I just talked to someone at Oasis which sales these dust collectors and he told me that in fact they are made in India.
He will try to get more information concerning the real specifications

Looks like the old 5hp central machinery version that HF used to sell for a short while.

Bert, I know you got your Clearvue cyclone, but did you happen to get any more info from these guys on the specs? I’m kind of interested in the 3hp unit for the same purpose – simply to scavenge the motor and mount it to a cyclone.
