Dewalt 733 planer parting out

What’s wrong with it that you’re going to trash it ?

The motor has the drive gear worn out and also the matching driven gear
.these two parts are half the cost of replacing machine..

Dusty..there are 3 sets of knives they my need to be sharpened.. my Dad just gave me this planer and I had hoped to repaire it and use for smaller jobs as I have a good 5hp planer molder.If you can use the knives let me know
