Why isn't there a list of Moderators or a tab on the home page for contacting them!

I have looked in all areas of LJs that I can think of but where do you find a list of Moderators when one has a question or a problem?

Do you mean like a webmaster or something else? I’ve looked for support here as well without locating any either. This site just seems to run itself.

There are no Moderators on this site..This place is a joke for moderation..Noone is ever around when you need them for anything. I belong to a forum where there are anywhere from 1-4 moderators on every page, and every subject. The owner of the site lives in Canada, and is on the forum everyday, sometimes all day and night….If things get out of hand, and sometimes they do, then too much, and they are banned….If the owner is not on at the time, then the moderators are in charge of handling things….That’s the way a forum should be ran….you either play nice, or you’re gone….simple as that…..

Fortunately it usually runs quite well for no moderators. I honestly like L/J’s a lot.

I agree with hunter71. We are all grown adults here. (I think, LOL) If there is a topic that offends me on this site I simply click the back button and go to another topic.
I like the fact that so many great craftsman (and women) on the site are so quick to chime in with sound advise and honest opinions.

I agree LJs is a great site but every so often there are those that insist on making it there personnel dumping ground. I also agree there are many talented craftsman here and that’s what this site is intended for.

I agree on liking LJs a lot, but I’m really starting to come around to the notion that LJs could benefit from more moderation. We have too many people on these forums who have no interest in woodworking, just in stirring things up. That’s ok when it’s posting something moronic in the off topic forum, but when it bleeds into legitimate topics, it gets annoying really quick.

OT is for those who indulge in a “dumping” ground, as a use for getting something off their chest – or – just to see what kind of reaction is out there.

Guys, guys, guys take a deep breath and calm down. Coastie, you really need to stay on the meds…or maybe it’s me that needs to. Anyway, LJs is a great site where a person’s opinion matters to all but a few.

you can use the “LumberJocks Site Feedback Forum”.
And yes you can send me a message if you don’t want to post something publicly.
