Sawstop fired( metal clamp too close), and now blade doesn’t retract below table. Cuts fine. Gets down to 1/4 ”. Anyone have experience with this?

I have a suggestion that you might try (I did the same with my SS).

1) Unplug saw

2) Raise blade as high as it can go.

3) Carefully grip the blade and lift upward to re-seat the mechanism.

You may also want to check see if compacted sawdust may be obscuring the inner works.

Please let me know what you did to fix this.

Good luck..

No luck pulling up. No obvious obstruction. Will get dirty and get inside next.

I hope that works for you! If not, the technical support is really good. Please let me know what you discover in case I have the same issue.

Best of luck!
