I fetteled this plane for a LJ that said they were interested in it and they have not pulled the trigger I NEED TO PAY SOME BILLS So I am not waiting any more the asking price is 150 it includes the plane and i will pay up to ten dollars worth of shipping i think it will fit in a medium flat rate box so it could ship as soon as the cash is in my Paypal account.
the plane is in good shape and is ready to use its sharp and takes nice shavings

Fettled? Is that a real word? I am being serious here… I haven’t seen that term before. What exactly does it mean applied to planes?

OK, what do you to Fettle a plane?
... besides flattening things as required & sharpening / honing as required?
... adjust it for super thin shave / cutting?

Just curious… to get it in writing… LOL (so we all know what it is… LOL )

It’s perfectly cromulent to embiggen the value of a plane by fetteling it.
