Topic tags/keywords: question!

I wonder if anyone out there would have some ideas on how to deal with backside of these kitchen cabinets? Right now, the back is made of out of pressed wood sheets. Since these cabinets form sort of a kitchen “island”, we want to change the look of back of these cabinets since they can be seen from other areas in the house. Does anyone out there have an idea what we could use to “dress” up the look of these cabinets? Thanks so much in advance for any ideas out there.

One alternative would be to add drywall and it would look like a pony wall. If you don’t want that, you could cover it with 3/4” plywood. Looks like red oak. Or you could make panels that would match the doors and screw them on from the inside. Good luck.
