For all you HF tool users and purchasers, Harbor Freight is having a One Day Sale tomorrow, January 2013, sponsering 25% off hundreds of products, many major tools e.g. 16 speed Drill press $299.00, $100.00 off
I almost bought a bunch of their quick grip clamps today. Only 3 dollars and some change each
for 12 inch clamps.
Kind of backed out but may go back and grab about 8 of them. Seems they would be
fine for jigs and such.
I did end up picking up a clamping dial indicator with 20% off and an 8" digital
metric and SAE read-out caliper.
I'm pretty leary of their power woodworking equipment. I suppose the low
cost gains entry into something (like turning) that otherwise wouldn't be possible
for a lot of people.
I'm thinking the porter-cable drill press at Lowes looks to be of considerable better
quality than the offerings at HF.
