I’m in the process of building a jewelry box for my granddaughter and I’m looking for suggestions as to the premier place to purchase quality hinges and knobs for small boxes – looking for quality and selection. Thank You

Check Woodcraft and Rockler catalogs.

Rockler without a doubt. I made some gunning boxes for my son-in-laws. Solid brass ones. Largest ones they carry. Spendy but worth it. You can feel the heft when you hold them and they look great. Quality hardware can help a mediocre project look good. Cheap hardware can ruin a great project.

Lee Valley is another really good place. They have their catalog online

Check the Horton Brasses website. They make quality hardware, and you can order direct from them.
