I know that I have seen this topic on here before but it has been some time ago. Could anyone give me a good direction towards an aftermarket rip fence comparable to the Delta T2? I can’t seem to find something that isn’t several hundred dollars.

I think $168 shipped is the best price you’ll find on a decent aftermarket fence right now. The price fluctuates sometimes as I’ve seen it recently as low as $158 shipped.

I have been using a Vega Pro 40 on my 1977 Craftsman for over a year. Works great.

The T2 is probably the best bang for the buck going….not much else worth mentioning in that price range IMO. The Vega and Shop Fox Classic are both nice fences for more money.

I have had good service from my Vega fence for over 20 years. Great customer service as well! Owner talked me thru a repair and readjust after shipping $12 in parts.

Well, the Delta T2 seems to be out of stock on many websites. I looked into the shop fox and have found several to choose from but I’m overwhelmed with the options…can anyone give me a model to consider? Also, thanks for the wisdom.

I know someone with a Delta T2 who would probably like to sell it. Brand new in the box but he is not interested in shipping. If you think you might be interested post your location.

Looks like tools-plus has it in-stock.

Tedstor – from my last check the T2 was out of stock when I went to check out. Their post was that it was in back order. I will check it again in the morning thank you for your help.

John – it might be worth it considering the cost. I live in middle of TN. Let me know.

This is dumb question, but would any of these fit an old Makita 2708?

The guy I know with the fence is in Ct and I’m sure he is not interested in shipping it. I will say that I have that fence on my saw and it is perfect. As far as Tools-Plus, I’ve purchased from them on numerous occasions and have been very pleased with their service.
