Welcome to Lumberjocks.

What part of the country are you from? What dimensions do you need? I recently purchased some thin stock from Richard Moore Custom Sawing in Clemmons, NC. Great for making small boxes. Not so great if you want it for turning. A little more information might lead you to the perfect source.

Patron – I have tried him, even called him. Have not heard back though. LOL

Jeff- I am in Southern California, thin stock would be perfect. I want it for making boxes, door panels for jewelry boxes, etc. Not interested in turning.

Check out One of the people there is from Texas and mills Flame Box Elder-FBE they call it. The guy’s name is Kevin and he is a moderator. Better prices than the Soulcatcher guy, but it isn’t cheap.

-- Robert, so much inspiration here, and now time to work!!!

I have a few sticks I am hoarding in my woodpile inside. But watch it, if you let it see the sunlight, no more red flames…
