I am building a “desk/hutch bookcase” for my grand daughter.

The desk is one piece and bookcase is another. The desk is 21’’ deep and bookcase is 10 1/2’’ deep. It sits there just fine, but I feel it should be secured somehow. Not permanantly, because she will take the thing to college and needs to be able to attach it back together.

Anyone have a good idea how to accomplish my goal???

Thanks so much.
