Saw this interesting post on Boston area CL this morning.

Rare ebony logs from Cuttyhunk, MA shipwreck.

I have no idea if $200-$600 for a log of ebony is a good price or not, but if anyone is in the area and interested I thought I’d share.

jmartel home \| projects \| blog 55 posts in 318 days #1 posted 152 days ago	The lumber store I used to buy from sold Ebony at $87/boardfoot. I’d say that’s a good deal for those logs if they are ebony.
