Topic tags/keywords: flashlight monster flashlight powerful flashlight 1000 lumens

FYI: I thought I’d let you know of a really REALLY powerful flashlight that I have purchased that out illuminates the competition. Although I admit I have not tested all of the others, just the info provided has others beat.

I was intrigued by an ad by a well known wood tool website (G*) that boasts a 700 lumen flashlight for sale. These are not inexpensive so I thought I’d do a search on what is out there. Glad I did! I found a source from NJ who is a self proclaimed “Flashlight Fanatic” and he has done some work in getting a quality product out.

I chose one of the models that gives out 1000 lumens. The one I purchased is one of the newer models and it is NOT WIMPY! The light is as bright as a car head light and the flashlight only weighs 6.2 oz (w/o battery). They do take a special battery that you purchase seperately, but it’s worth the costs to get a quality item that will last. You can get regular or high performance batteries and they are all rechargeable (You must use the re-chargers being sold, but can use other batteries in this unit). Read the info provided so you understand the product. http://shop.monsterflashlight.com/1000-Lumens-Max-Tactical-Flashlights_c7.htm
I am so impressed with this little flashlight that I have also purchased the 3000 lumens model (a REAL MONSTER) that is heavy with the max 3 batteries (2 make it usable, 3 make it longer lasting).

Since I have moved out to the woods, things are a bit dark (and creepy) so, now, if someone or something is out there at night or if we have a blackout we’re ready!

I am finding that all the other flashlights in the house are JUNK and will end up in a give-away box as soon as I get them replaced.

Having worked the majority of my long Police career on the night shift, I’ve always had a passion for “high powered” flashlights. They actually make a small battery operated flashlight that will provide a high intensity strobe light that is intended to disorient a person when flashed in their eyes. It’s another less than lethal tactic at an Officer’s disposal. Your light looks impressive. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, MMH! That’s a REALLY good price for a quality light. I’m a Streamlight and Fenix fan but they’re horribly expensive. I’m going to check this out!
