There are quite a few good places to learn something about sharpening. I wished there was something like this when I started carving. I’ve even learned some new stuff myself, by reviewing these sites. I’m listing a few of them. Someone else may want to share some tutorials that they know about. This is a very good Video from FWW by Taunton. Sharpening Carving Tools by L. S. Irish. A round gouge honing board, by L. S. Irish These three should be a good start. This is another good one, I kind of like this one. -- -** You are never to old to set another goal or to dream a new dream ****************** Dick, & Barb Cain, Hibbing, MN. http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/gallery/member.php?uid=3627&protype=1 |
