Topic tags/keywords: resource carving tool sharpening carving

There are quite a few good places to learn something about sharpening.

I wished there was something like this when I started carving.

I’ve even learned some new stuff myself, by reviewing these sites.

I’m listing a few of them.

Someone else may want to share some tutorials that they know about.

This is a very good Video from FWW by Taunton.

Sharpening Carving Tools by L. S. Irish.

A round gouge honing board, by L. S. Irish

These three should be a good start.

This is another good one, I kind of like this one.

Good stuff. Again feeling like the oil stones are the way to go for carving tools. V tools and gouges would do a number on my 800 water stone.
