Is this an upgrade from a newish Delta 14” band saw (last of the MIA series)? If not then someone else in NorCal can call dibs. |

For $200 I’d buy it and I have 4 bandsaws already. It’s going to have a bigger throat than the one you have now so you can resaw large boards. It’s also got a stronger motor than the one on your 14” bandsaw. I couldn’t find it in the current catalog, but if you know the model # you can download the manual and look up the specifications. I don’t think you’d be unhappy with this saw and if you are, clean it up and make it sparkle, then in a few months post it back for $500. -- Hal, Tennessee http://www.first285.com |
