I’ve been trying to do a little research on this sander, as it seems like a great product for the price, but am having trouble locating much information on it. I understand it is likely going to be around $150 upon release.
I first read about it on this Fine Woodworking page.
Triton’s web site doesn’t seem to have any information on it.
It certainly sounds enticing at this price, and I’m in need of a new ROS. I’d really like to get a Mirka CEROS or a Festool Rotex, but I just can’t justify the cost of those sanders right now, so the Triton Geared Eccentric Orbit Sander seems like it’d be a nice compromise.
Does anybody have any other information on this sander, as well as when it might be released here in the U.S.?
