Under rated

remember pat this is a woodworking site, but what the heck. i think Dragonforce is underrated.

sorry pat gwar are not good musicans, they have a great live show, if your a fan of blood and gore, but thats it.

Actually gwar are great musicians, you simply cant appreciate it. Music isn’t a contest. I don’t like the idea of rating bands, overrated, underrated, it doesn’t matter ultimately. It matters if you enjoy it or not.

If you want to know why gwar, anthrax, megadeth, and other bands are not more famous or popular that would be because some people don’t like their protective bubble busted and can’t handle hearing offensive or crude language even when the message is positive.

yep, like iron maiden. they just love to do what they do. aren’t like britney spears or anything. just love what they do and don’t care about fame

I like the quote rob zombie made in the documentary “Metal, a headbangers journey” he said

“I’ve never met the guy that just kinda likes metal, or the guy that was into Slayer for one summer. I’ve only met the guy that has SLAYER carved into his arm.”

Personally I love metal and I love a lot of other types of music. I like country and blues artists like Cash and Dylan and I like rappers like Sage Francis and Mos Def. I grew up listening to lots of punk rock so naturally I have undying love for The Misfits, Black Flag, Face to Face and Dropkick Murphys. I also like newer bands like The Killers and Alkaline Trio. It really doesn’t matter about genre or style, it is about if you’re good at it and you love doing it. If you have both of those things no one can say “you suck” they can only say they don’t like it.

Of course opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and most of them stink.

boon hit is right on! its really what you like and if those people up there love what they are doing and are good at it you will put out good music. just depends on who’s listening.
