How many Ws or kWs are efficent for drill press? Is it 0,5 to 1,0 kW or more, for all types of woodworking projects (boards and planks max up to 8cm ticknes 16-20 mm holes)? -- Ivan, Croatia, Wooddicted |

Hi Ivan. In terms of our drill presses, I would get one with at least a 1/2 hp motor ( 373 watts). It will turn up to a 50MM Forstner bit…...................Jim -- Jim Jakosh.....Practical Wood Products...........Learn something new every day!! |
