Why would anyone publish pictures of someone else and their child on the internet without permission?! I have found out that someone I used to know did that here. Not only that, he published my child’s name on here. Think before you post. We are entitled to privacy! Al Wojcik is not the man you think he is. I have other internet sites he’s on he would not be so proud to see here or publicly posted at all.

concernedcitizen- you sound like you could be the individual in question. Your only post made only 5 min after you sign up is to call someone else crazy, seems a little off. My wife does not like very many pics of our kids posted on the internet nor their names posted with them, it is a safety issue considering how many nutjobs roam the internet.

Though he also hasn’t posted here in 33 days and I don’t see pictures in his recent projects so where is this coming from?

derosa, if you look at the profile, irishize58 has mostly just posted on Al’s projects. I reckon a bad breakup and the purpose of the poster is to express her angst. I sent a PM to Debbie to check it out. Would prefer that we don’t endure a bunch of postings complaining about the real or imagined deficiencies of yet another LJ.

Kind of interesting that these postings all arose now after I blocked Al from contacting me after he wrote me a novel. Also, after several of his coworkers contacted me here. Curious why now I received all of these in the last hour or so when it’s been weeks since my original posting here. It came to my attention that these pictures AND my daughter’s name were published here without our knowledge or permission. After multiple requests to the site, they were not removed, so I posted to the projects asking for removal. The personal information was finally removed.

I guess it had to be approved, quite untimely as it was:

An afterthought, not one single poster was concerned about the violation of privacy, only protecting the offender and attacking me. Says alot about the group.

Why did you even bring your little drama here? I think you should take your dirty laundry elsewhere.

Sounds to me like she has a legitimate beef but it should be in the off topic content forum. Violation of someones privacy is a serious matter and no one should make light of it. This isn’t the first time this has happened here or other websites for that matter.

Iris there are thousands of members that are stand up people on this site so please don’t paint with too broad of a brush because there are a few people that make light of what happened to you!

I know very little about your issues, but I literally just made an account after months of anonymity to tell you that based on your posts to this site (and the timeline at which they were posted), you come across as a crazy person. Just sayin.

Sorry guys but I don’t agree someone should not have photo’s of themselves or there children posted if they don’t want them posted. As far as her approach ,what would we do if we felt that management of a web site was not responding to our request on and important issue ? Many would take it to the members in the form of a post ! Is that crazy?
I usually don’t post on issues like this ,because many will want to have a big debate about it.

My apologies RetiredCoastie. I read it and that’s how it looks but I meant the group of responders I woke to see this a.m. I appreciate your comments. I did put it in non-shop and assumed that was an off topic list. I was quite taken aback since it was over a month old before it was “posted”.

Thanks a1Jim and derosa. I made several efforts before I joined the site and went “public”. The invasion of privacy was very disconcerting and the poster knew how I felt about that subject very well.

In reading your posts, you stated you didn’t like the boxes given you, and you offered to sell the quilt rack he built you. In this post, you mention Al being a member of other sites he’d be embarrassed if we knew about.

Seems like there was a little more than the privacy issue driving your posts. You say Al isn’t the man we thought he was – I’m betting Al is thinking the same about you.
