I just thought I’d pass along the opportunity for an incredible deal. I just picked up a Ridgid 6 1/8” Jointer (JP0610), a Ridgid 13” planer (R4331) and a Ridgid oscillating belt sander (EB4424) at the Direct Tools outlet. They sell ‘factory blemished’ and ‘factory reconditioned’ products at great prices, and they’re doing a 30% off Christmas sale.

The retail pricing on these (from Home Depot) total to $1150, but I was able to get these 3 for $570!! The store clerk promised me that the only thing ‘factory blemished’ was the box that they came in and sure enough all of the parts were undamaged and the tools work great.

If any of you are in the market for Ridgid brand tools, check out Direct Tools.

Wow! What a great start! I also see a DP and MS in the background. You are well on your way! Nice score!

Thanks Mike.

The DP was inherited from my grandfather in-law, and I’ve been using the miter saw for a while. In addition to the incredible pricing, I was able to sell my old HF 6” jointer and older Delta 22-540 planer on CL and make back most of the investment in the new tools. All in all I’m extremely excited about ‘rounding out’ my shop with these new items.

@ Toolie

They DO NOT qualify for the LSA. The guys at Direct were pretty straight forward about that. Their ‘factory blemished’ items carry a 2 year warranty, and any ‘refurbished’ items carry a 1 year warranty.

Thanks for the information. I am about to pull the trigger on that very same sander and just planned to go down to Home Depot if I cannot find one on CL. And nice score!

Never registered lsa on my tools, not one of my stronger points, but will say their has never been a need for warrenty work on any rjdgid equip I have owned.. as long as equip is properly maintained no problems should be encountered. Any problems u might encounter as a result of getting a lemon would be found within a fee months of use.

Great score!

I will say we have slowly phased out all of our ridgid equip and replaced with older used cast iron pieces for ,ore industrial usage.

@ rlrobinhood

Direct tools outlet is an outlet store chain owned by the company that manufactures Ridgid, Ryobi, Homelite etc brands that you will find at big box hardware stores. They sell factory blemished and refurbished products.

The store local to me is located at a Tanger outlet mall. They have a website but it doesn’t say much:

https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com/

Honestly I didn’t know it existed either until my wife went xmas shopping at the outlets the other day.

This must be in Glendale ja?
How much was the Jointer?
I went there the other day and wasn’t super impressed but maybe I judged too quickly.

I have found some good deals at the Myrtle Beach Tanger Outlet store. I think they are only in Tanger Outlets.
