Topic tags/keywords: jointer power shop help

Spent a good time of today in the shop trying to set up the new jointer. Got things cleaned up, calibrated, ready to go – Power was installed last week. Stop light button comes on, so I know it has juice. Push start – nothing.

So – I’m looking at the diagram that came with it – and tell me if I’m wrong – it looks like the damn thing came wired upside down on the power block.

Am I wrong?

First things first. Verify the plug with a meter. You should have 115v and 240v so set your meter for the larger. If you have correct power then I’d call the Tech line of which ever manufacturer the jointer is from.
