Topic tags/keywords: saw miter sliding compound

I remember seeing a fancy miter saw, probably a couple of years ago, that used some sort of articulating arm instead of a sliding mechanism. This eliminated the need to have a lot of space behind the saw, ie. it could sit pretty much up against the wall behind it. I don’t remember the brand and can’t find it anywhere. Can anybody help point me in the right direction? Thanks!
Mike

I first saw this saw in Woodcraft Magazine’s Extreme Garage Makeover edition. However, the cost is prohibiting for me at the moment. Very cool design.

Bosch… I have it and love it. The price has come down into the $600’s so it is still pricey but a really nice saw.
