I’m looking for a company that custom routes solid wood or perhaps an individual that would be willing to cut it for a fee of course. Just wondering if anyone new of any companies. Not finding much searching on google but perhaps I’m not using the correct terms.

Welcome to LumberJocks , a world of advise, opinions, and experiences, all shared without judgement.

Without knowing what part of the world/country/U.S. you live in it is difficult to answer your question.

No need for your home address but possibly the nearest large town/city which you live near would get the attention of a LumberJock near you who may be able to help you.

Best Regards – Len

A location would be helpful. I was thinking of just ordering from a company but if someone could help that would be great.

I live in north east Ohio near Cleveland.

What is the product you need produced? A description with specifications such as material, quantity, etc.

Hard to respond to so little detail. Many LJ’s might be capable and interested in supplying products for your project.

A little more information on what I need. I need 2 puzzle shaped pieces one out of a dark color wood one out of a light color wood maybe walnut and pine not sure yet. About 1/2” thick again not sure yet. I livein north east Ohio near Cleveland. These will becaketoppers for my wedding next year so nothing to precise. I’m also looking at our local community college they have a router the the public can use but I’m afraid that might be a hassle they are only available certain days and hours. I’m an engineer so I can model what I need in 3D and supply DXF’s dwg’s or whatever the router will except. I know this can be done on a bandsaw but I’m a cnc guy. if I can find a placeto make it for a reasonable cost id go that direction.

Have your say...
