Found this blog two days ago, and then tonight found the Grizzly woodworking tools website. This upcoming year I need to purchase a new table saw, 20” single surface thickness planer, 8’ jointer, shaper, and a 13 spindle line boring machine. I purchased a few new tools this year they were all general international, a 17” bandsaw, osciailating spindle sander, 6”x108” verticle edage belt sander, drill press, dust collector and a Hegner scrollsaw. My question is how the General International and Grizzly tools compare in quality. Looking at the Grizzly prices in Bellingham they seem to be quite a bit cheaper than the General tools up here in BC. And are the Grizzly tools made overseas? |
