They aren’t kidding when they say “wood jointer.” Of course they are kidding when they call it a thickness planer. Which reminds me. Check out the home built (out of wood, mostly) 12” wide jointer on You Tube (sorry, don’t have the link, but just google homemade jointer). The guy uses the cutter head and motor out of a lunchbox planer. And it looks good.

Agree with everyone that is really cool. @muleskinner I was thinking the same thing that $45 isn’t a bad price.
