I have just acquired a J campbell cast wood jointer can any body help with any information please

The stand does not look original to the jointer. It appears
undersized. If you are getting the “J. Campbell” name
off the stand you are likely barking up the wrong tree.

In terms of identifying the jointer, check the head size
and then go to http://owwm.com and carefully look
for similar machines. Look at the fence designs
in particular.
