If I zero my .001 dial indicator, and the needle moves to the 1 on the big dial, is that 1/1000 of an inch?

.1 tenths
.01 hundredths
.001 thousandths

For those that didn’t know.

Maybe a picture of your scale?

each tick mark is .001. each digit is .01 one rotation is .1
