Hi, first for sale is a gently used (4) stone Norton Waterstone Set consisting of:

Size: 8”x3”x~15/16” out of 1” (Light use)

220 – Made in the USA
1000 – Made in the USA
4000 – Made in the USA
8000 – Made in Mexico, (but doesn’t exhibit defects and inconsistencies that plague the Mexico one, I got a good one)

The 4000 grit stone has a corner that broke off, I smoothed it out with my diamond stone. All Stones are near their original height. Sure you can go get some Norton stones in stores today, but they no longer sell the USA made ones, which are more consistent and reliable. The Mexican made ones are a crap shoot as to wether they exhibit certain issues or not, some are perfect, some arent. The 8000 that I have is Mexican-made but I got a lucky one that is well made and performs every bit as good as it should.

Next for sale: I have 5 New Old Stock D-95 26” 8ppi Disston saws, never used, as nice as the day they were made. I believe they are from the early 70s and after having gotten comments from some saw sharpeners, the steel in the saws is every bit as good as disstons of older vintage. Here is your chance to be the first to put one of these saws through wood and just in time for the holidays .
