Should I do those brass lower and upper corners on the back side as well as the front?

I always think of the brass corners as belonging to a trunk.

If you’re going to use them, I’d use them all the way atround.

Is that base attached to the sides with the brass corners captured between the base and sides?
Or does the box lift off the base?

If it is the later, then back corners would be appropiate.

If the base is attached then none of the bottom corners seem appropiate to me.

I’ll use them on the top and not the bottom, Crank49 is right. The base is enough there. And crank, I just filed one side of those corner brass pieces off and stuck them up there to see if I like them. Here is a picture after the first coat of Minwax wipe on poly.
