My ShopVac has a 1-1/4” hose, and almost none of my tools have that size port. I know they sell converters, and I just make my own, but that doesn’t really solve the problem. The thin hose constantly gets clogged up. It’s not a suction problem, there is plenty of that. I was wondering if it’s possible to get a 2.5” hose to put on the vac in place of the stock one. I measured the opening, and it’s about 2.5”, if that helps. Any comments are appreciated, and links are even more helpful. Thanks.

I’d bet the Shop Vac 2 1/2” hose would plug into it….get it at a box store, if it doesn’t fit take it back.

True… I’ll see if I can find one when/if I brave the crowds tomorrow. I’ll probably pick up a plastic converter too, so I can still use my attachments.
