Hi Folks,

Walking around a neighborhood in Jersey, came across some Walnut logs. Just too nice and clear to pass up. But, the home owner had already cut them into shorter pieces. So i figure, some bowl blanks, at worst.

How should i cut and store these until I get a chance to turn? It will probably be a while before I get a chance too. Just cut it into the thick squares and coat the heck out of it with wax?

thanks folks!

Ev
