Does anyone have experience or comment on the Lie-Nielsen #8 Jointer. I own other Lie-Nielsen planes and they’re all terrific. I’m debating between a #7 and a #8. I don’t believe I would mind the extra weight of the #8; in fact, I think I would welcome it. As i’m new to this forum if there’s a link to a product review area that I haven’t found just let me know where. Thanks.

I don’t own a L-N #8 but I had a Bedrock for awhile and it
was very heavy to use.

If you want to lose some weight or get a workout, go
for it. The mass will help you remove thicker shavings
faster if you can keep up with the tool physically.

Have your say...
