I’ve got manzanita burl that I gathered as one of the percs of my “day job”. (Logger in northern California) Manzanita’s great if you like chainsaw sharpening, lathe tool sharpening, etc…...but you forget that part when you see the end result. Beautiful red inside, honey yellow outside when it’s fresh and pressure washed. It’s one of the prettiest woods around in my opinion. See a few of ‘em here:
