I had to go to Lowes today to get some stain and I thought I’d check up on the instore special that someone posted about earlier today that There was a Bosch 18V driver with two batteries and charger for 99$. It’s a fact. I got me one of them bad boys. Regularly 189$. Looks like they have plenty of them too. UPDATE: -- Failure does not stop me, it makes me try harder..... because I'm crazy. |

Ah, that was you. Thanks. Now I have four cordless drills and may actually find one when I need it. -- Failure does not stop me, it makes me try harder..... because I'm crazy. |

Is this the one? http://www.lowes.com/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10151&catalogId=10051&productId=3962441&cId= Listed on the Lowes site at $99, with 1.3 AH batteries. If they’ve got the 1.5 AH ones on sale I’m all over it, but in terms of ordering off the Lowes site, it’s a different drill and different batteries. |

Loren, yes, you’re right, I grabbed the wrong one off the web. I went down and checked. it is the DDS180-02 18-Volt 1/2-Inch Compact Tough Drill Driver with Two Lithium-Ion Batteries sold here at Amazon for 189$. Minus the case. -- Failure does not stop me, it makes me try harder..... because I'm crazy. |

It’s a good compliment to my dewalts. I often need several drivers with different bits, and getting yet another dewalt would only confuse me, this way I can tell right away. -- Failure does not stop me, it makes me try harder..... because I'm crazy. |

You did good. The only difference between the 180 and the 181 is that the 181 comes with the new 1.5ah batteries with the battery gauge. I have the 181 (two in fact) and love it. -- He who dies with the most tools... dies with the emptiest wallet. |

Okay, my Lowes had the $99 driver, but also the driver/impact driver combo for $199. I have the driver (love it) and have been wanting an impact driver for a while now… Yep, I bought the combo. -- jay, www.allaboutastro.com |

After reading about this on here last night I saw it pop up on the lowes site and then when I was pumping gas this morning an ad for it popped up on the pump screen -- It's made of wood. Real sturdy.--Chubbs Peterson |
