Hi everyone!!
I just purchased a new, used scroll saw. I broke my only blade and looking for some good ones now. I
like the olson blades, but am confused in what TPI and the thickness is best in a blade. Im going to be doing some tight cutting soon, so what do you all think??
Thanks!!
-Matthew

I posted this http://lumberjocks.com/topics/40163 for some advice and ordered from

http://www.mikesworkshop.com/blades.htm

He answered my questions and recommended what blades would work and why.

I would buy from him again.

If you email me at sheilalandrydesigns@gmail.com and give me your personal email, I will send you a blade chart from Olson which will help you decide which blade is best. You can always email me with a specific type/thickness of wood and what you will be cutting and I will help you choose, too! :)

I was going to suggest that you get in contact with Sheila Landry but it looks like she beat me to the punch. I’m pretty new to the scroll saw world myself. The best thing to do is to talk to people who do scroll work. Sheila was on of the first people I talked to when got my scroll saw.

Listen to Sheila Landry (scrollgirl). She pointed me to Olson and I’ve not been disappointed.
Steve Good is another scroller who knows everything there is about scrolling and equipment.
