Well my woodworking has been put on hold once again. About two months ago my wife found out that she has cervical cancer. She is a RN and hasn’t been able to work since she found out because of the heavy bleeding. She is taking radiation and chemo treatments. I have been missing so much work that I may have to sell some of my woodworking tools. Please keep her in your prayers. Greg |

Greg, My wife is a 4 yr. survivor of breast cancer, it’s difficult to say the least. Be strong and keep the Faith. Lord, even when the odds seem against us, help us to trust in You. Best wishes. Wife only has two more radiation treatments to take. She had to have a blood transfusion Wednesday and we couldn’t go watch our son in the state football finals but I ordered a copy from Ihigh. Renee will have to go to Nashville 5 times so that they can put a radioactive pill inside her next to the tumor. They will leave it in for 2 hours then take it out. Thank you to everyone who has been praying for her. I don’t think she would have gotten to worn out if not for not being able to make any blood. |

My wife Renee is doing fine right now and has headed back to work. She is a RN and her getting to take care of and help people has gotten her spirits way up. I want to thank everyone for the prayers, kind thoughts and well wishes. I hope everything gets back to normal now. I haven’t posted anything in a while but I read the site everyday. Once again thank you very much. Greg |

Glad to hear the good news Greg. Your post points out the critical need for blood and platelet donations. These often make the difference for cancer patients and I would encourage anyone who is able to donate to do so regularly. A small act can literally save a life. -- Altruism is, ultimately, self-serving |
