Wife only has two more radiation treatments to take. She had to have a blood transfusion Wednesday and we couldn’t go watch our son in the state football finals but I ordered a copy from Ihigh. Renee will have to go to Nashville 5 times so that they can put a radioactive pill inside her next to the tumor. They will leave it in for 2 hours then take it out. Thank you to everyone who has been praying for her. I don’t think she would have gotten to worn out if not for not being able to make any blood.

My wife Renee is doing fine right now and has headed back to work. She is a RN and her getting to take care of and help people has gotten her spirits way up. I want to thank everyone for the prayers, kind thoughts and well wishes. I hope everything gets back to normal now. I haven’t posted anything in a while but I read the site everyday. Once again thank you very much.

Your post points out the critical need for blood and platelet donations. These often make the difference for cancer patients and I would encourage anyone who is able to donate to do so regularly. A small act can literally save a life.
