Hey, so I just ordered my Bosch 1617 router and I’m building a table. Can someone give me the height and width of the router in the fixed base? The with should be without handles because I bought the table base for it. Thanks in advance! |

Hang on, Cole. I’ll go out and measure mine… OK, the diameter of the fixed base is 6 inches. There’s an adjuster though that would “stick out” of that 6 inch diameter circle by half an inch or so. Height is variable depending on where you have it latched, but if you’re looking for a good height under the table, mine is 12 and a half inches from the underside of the plate, to the bottom of the cavity in which the router lives. This gives me JUST enough room to drop the motor out of the base from underneath. Otherwise I have to remove my fence, lift the router plate, base and motor out through the top. That what you’re looking for? |

Just finished the motor compartment thanks to your measurements. That was exactly what I was looking for! Thanks so much! |
