Ok fellow Jocks and Jockettes . . . how many of you stage photos for your project blogs? Come on . . . I know you do it. As a picture is worth a 1000 words and as everyone wants to tell their story we all try to get an interesting in-progress picture or two for posting to the site.

I have been working on my project for the Gorilla Glue Challenge for a good portion of the week . . . actually about an hour a night. The other evening I was staging a picture of me “cutting” a piece of the project with a jigsaw.

I set up the camera, hit the 10sec timer, got in position and waited for the BEEP to let me know when the snap was taken. Little did I know that DW had the camera in movie mode earlier in the day and I failed to switch it back to camera mode.

Here it the “picture” I discovered when I downloaded my pictures for the night.

I thought it was rather funny. :-)

I had it cut prior to the “picture” (hang head in shame) :-)

I stage everything——- and I’m not very good at it since I have not yet pried open my wallet to get a tripod. I often end up with some, umm odd pictures—.

Thanks for sharing your blopper though——pretty funny all in all.

Ha! You’re a brave man to share that with us. I stage a lot of my project pics, but try to actually capture real-life shots. So I’ll get started on a cut, set the camera with delay, and then finish the cut.

Woodworking and blogging takes me long enough as it is!

From the icon picture I imagine Zuki as more of a long-haired hippie type…not what the vid shows at all.

If it’s wood it works, and if it’s not ?????? So we should stick to wood?

-- ??? My mistakes heat the house. It's very warm in here. ???
