I recently signed up for a 1-day class taught by Rob Cosman at Woodcraft in Loveland, CO. In the morning he’s focusing on hand plane restoration/use/sharpening, and in the afternoon it’s for cutting dovetails. I learned my dovetailing technique by watching his videos online, so I’m excited to fine tune things in person. Are any of you Colorado-based lumberjocks going to attend as well?

It’s next Saturday, the 17th. The class isn’t cheap, but I think it’s worth it. Look here:

“The Great Hand Plane Revival” and “Dovetail Details” are the Cosman classes.

Classes are GREAT, I take many, with many instructors… I feel they are excellent investments in the craft.

Those classes are rather expensive, for the time involved and number of seats. With 20 people and only a few hours, it’s going to be a lot less of a class, and a lot more of a demo.

Have your say...
