I am in the market for a new jigsaw and have been trying to decide over the Milwaukee 6276-21, or the Bosch 1591EVSK. Is there a clear winner out of these to jigsaws or are they about equal? I was also looking at the Milwaukee 6268-21, along with the Bosch 1590EVSK. These are two top handles. What are the advantages, disadvantages of top handle, and barrel grip jigsaws? |

I have the Bosch and have been pleased with it. If I remember correctly, Fine Woodworking ranked it the highest in last years tool guide. -- My favorite piece is my last one, my best piece is my next one. |

I have the Bosch 1590 too. Blade changing on the 1590 and 1591 are utterly simple and foolproof. Don’t know the Milwaukee tool but you will not be sorry with either of these Bosch tools. By the way, stay away from the Bosch 1587. Blade changing on that one is a nightmare |

I have a Bosch with the handle and it’s great. Would recommend it highly. -- Only the Shadow knows.................... |

Thanks for all the comments everyone. I appreciate it. I own some other Milwaukee tools and really like them, so I was pushing towards the Milwaukee, but after reading specs and reviews of both tools it seems that the Bosch jigsaw might be the better choice. |

I have an older Bosch barrel grip. I would highly recommend the barrel grip version of any jigsaw. I feel you have much more control. -- Tony, Ohio |

I have the Milwaukee and never used the Bocsh, however the Milwaukee is a quality tool. It could blow the saw dust away a bit better. |

Nice video, thanks for the link. I think I am definitely going to go for the Barrel grip. Just haven’t decided on which barrel grip yet. I wish there was a place by where I live that would let me test both models before I buy. |
Have your say...
