Topic tags/keywords: lathe drive center spindle turning

Anyone have any good experiences or recommendations for a high quality after market lathe drive center? I am still using the one that came with my Jet lathe and it holds about as well as scotch table when it comes to spindle turning. Thanks in advance.

I swear by the Steb Centres which I believe is what teenagewoodworker is talking about. The centre point is springloaded and, instead of having 2 or 4 spurs, it has many small spurs which will slip if you get a huge catch.
