Topic tags/keywords: question finishing maple

Is there a special trick or something that can be done to guarantee the bark stays on? I’m working with a 2” slab of maple and want to keep the bark as natural as possible.

If it starts to peel, just glue it back.

It is very hard to keep the bark on. As soon as the cambium layer starts to loose moisture it will fall off.
