I get screwed on Nov. 6th, regardless. I have my 60-year old routine colonoscopy procedure scheduled for that day.

All I can say is that at least THIS time they are putting me under. The VA got too far behind and contracted this stuff to others.

The LAST time, on my 50th, the VA conducted this procedure and did so WITHOUT any meds. They just stuck the hose up there, turned on the air and the long…. rip began. The guy conducting the procedure pointed me to look up at the TV monitor and asked me if anything “looked familiar”, as if I had had my head up there at some OTHER point in time. HONEST!

I know I have been accused of this in the past, but!.......... and NO I did not recognize the place.

When it DOES start resembling a location you somewhat remember from some drunken haze, that is when you are most appreciative of black outs :)

I have had a couple a$$-oscopies and I can not imagine doing it without meds or even being awake for that matter. Are you sure you were at the Veterans hospital and not a Veteranian’s clinic?
