On no. 3, smokers lose teeth because of periodontal disease, which smoking does makes you more susceptible to. Had one tooth extracted today. Fortunately, this makes only 1 out of 20 years. Otherwise, based on the law of averages, I would be having a very bad year :) -- There is little that is simple when it comes to making a simple box. |

Actually, a lot of these are not true. Googling a few and finding info on National Geographic, or snopes shows it. Then again so much stuff on the internet is merely conjecture anyway. Good fact checking places are snopes.com and factcheck.org. -- The smell of wood, coffee in the cup, the wife let's me do my thing, the lake is peaceful. http://gagnerwebsite.com/Deceiver/Craftsman_on_the_lake/Craftsman_on_the_lake.html |

I know someone without a Belly Button… so, Hitchcock could not have one… -- Have Fun! Joe Lyddon - Alta Loma, CA USA - Home: http://www.WoodworkStuff.net ... My Small Gallery: http://www.ncwoodworker.net/pp/showgallery.php?ppuser=1389&cat=500" |

Like many things, it is all based on perspective. For example, Hitchcock had many abdominal surgeries, this resulted in his belly button disappearing. So the answer is both true and false because he was born with one but surgically lost it over time. Same thing with distant relations. If one can trace their family tree to the 7th cousin, any of us would discover a number of famous relatives. It is arguable that the first prototype of a Harley had a can for a carburetor, but not anything ever put in production. In the end, though. The whole thing is just for fun. Whether it is technically true or false, one can learn a few things just in the research alone. -- There is little that is simple when it comes to making a simple box. |

Facts based on statistics are not facts at all. you cannot call them true or false. I hate when people, like politicians quote statistics. They are always interpreted to suit the quoter. |
