Hi folks, I just had a couple Acacia trees (Black, I think) taken down and most of it will likely end up as firewood. I cringe at the idea of good wood going up in flames though so I want to see if any fellow woodworkers could make use of it first. I’m thinking it will appeal mostly to you turners out there if anything, but I’m yet to venture into that side of the wooworking hobby/addiction so don’t really know what makes for good turning stock. There’s several dozen rounds of various sizes. Trees just came down this morning so still very green. If you live in or near the San Francisco Bay Area and are interested in taking some of this off my hands just let me know. Not looking to get top dollar for any of it, just whatever you think is fair; also open to wood trades too. Not really sure what other info to provide so please let me know if you have any questions.
