It never ceases to amaze me the variety and scope of the projects that are posted on this site. I can’t imagine that anyone who visits here does not learn something from each visit that will improve their woodworking.

Something that is very unique to this site is the level of cooperation and teaching that goes on. I don’t think there are very many posts that have not been responded to or questions that have not been answered. I know that I learn a little bit from all the posts that I read and it’s nice that we can search this site for topics that I want to know more about.

I’m a good six weeks away from being allowed back in the shop, but I am building a huge backlog of things I want to try that my fellow Lumberjocks have posted.

Thanks to all of you for taking the time and energy to post and answer posts here. 5,000+ LJs should be patting themselves on the shoulder for a job well done.

It’s one of the things that keeps me coming back here; always something to learn. There are projects to view and examine then say, “So that’s how it’s done.” There are forums where questions are answered and skills are shared. Don’t even get me started on the challenges … Then there are the blogs where we get to learn about our fellow LumberJocks and develop friendships. All very cool.

And my hat’s off to you Betsy for staying “in the game” during your time of exile.
